KP leaders for time bound rehabilitation policy

JAMMU, Jan 9: Kasmiri Pandits today expressed concern that during last over 34 years of their exile no serious effort have been made by any Government in framing a tangible and concrete rehabilitation policy for them in the Valley that has completely shattered the hopes of community.
In a statement issued today, leaders of the community, M.K Yogi, Vinod Pandita, and Vishal Jotshi have jointly appealed to the Prime Minister and Home Minister of India to frame a concrete time-bound rehabilitation policy for the settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley with honour and dignity as they have full faith and pinned great hoped in present Government.
Yogi and Pandita said that Union Government has done tremendous and laudable development in all the spheres in the country and have expressed sanguine hope that a tangible and concrete rehabilitation policy be framed at the earliest so that this long genuine pending demand of displaced people is fulfilled for sake of justice and equity.
They also appealed to Lt.Governor for the creation of fresh 10,000 posts for the educated unemployed youth of KPs as the unemployment among community youth is on the rise.
