JAMMU, Jan 10: A delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) led by Lalit Mahajan, president, BBIA called on PK Bhat, Commissioner, State Taxes Department, J&K here today.
Mahajan was accompanied by Tarun Singla, senior vice president, BBIA, Viraaj Malhotra general secretary, BBIA and Rajesh Jain, Secretary BBIA.
While welcoming PK Bhat, on his appointment as Commissioner, State Taxes Department, J&K, the BBIA team discussed issues related to Industrial Sector in detail for early resolution which includes the issuance of one time amnesty notification in respect of time barred cases of CGST/SGST reimbursement, reimbursement of SGST to existing units as on 31-3-2021 under substantial expansion with the change in the line of activity /manufacturing of additional items, issues related to local steel industries, time bound release of funds by Finance Department for the reimbursement of GST and other related issues of Industrial Sector.
Commissioner, State Taxes assured the delegation that all the pending issues related to Industrial Sector will be resolved within shortest possible time.
