JAMMU, Jan 11: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 7 years, was arrested by Police in Gharota area here today.
Ashpreet Singh alias Janu of Mussa Chak, Tehsil RS Pura, was booked in case FIR number 14/2017 Under Sections 120-B/115RPC and 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Gharota.
Acting on specific information about the presence of the accused in RS Pura area, a team of Police Station Gharota raided the suspect place and arrested the accused, who shall be produced before the court of law for deciding future course of action.
