JAMMU, Jan 12: An FIR was registered against a minibus driver for violating the traffic rules by the traffic police National Highway here today.
The FIR was registered against the driver of minibus for overloading and endangering human lives in Udhampur said SSP NHW Rohit Baskotra.
Traffic police team of Traffic sub division Udhampur led by ASI Romesh SO Jakheni under the supervision of Dysp Traffic Udhampur Arun Jamwal while checking at Jakheni intercepted a minibus bearing registration number JK14A 7537 while on way from Udhampur to Samroli.
During checking it was found that bus was carrying 44 Passengers against the seating capacity of 16 only and hence endangering human lives. On this case FIR 20/2024 US 279, 336 IPC stands registered at Police station Udhampur. Vehicle seized on the spot and driver of the Vehicle stands arrested in case FIR.
