RAJOURI, Jan 14: BJP Jammu and Kashmir, general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta emphasised that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has a holistic vision for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. Gupta highlighted BJP’s role as a catalyst for change, fostering equitable development, peace, and prosperity in the Union Territory. He affirmed that under PM Modi’s leadership, Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a new chapter of growth and progress and urged everyone to actively support this vision, echoing the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’. “From May 2014 to March 2019, more than 150 ministerial visits unfolded. Government vacancies, once entangled in corruption and favouritism, have now been filled through transparent and process-driven methods. Grassroots democracy stands fortified, empowering marginalized sections, including SCs and STs. Road connectivity has been elevated, and each individual in J&K now experiences a sense of safety, security, and integral belonging to the nation”, said Vibodh while addressing a public gathering at Muradpur.
Vibodh expressed his belief that J&K holds the potential to flourish as the “jewel in the crown” of India.
He lauded the measures taken by the Modi Government to restore peace and normalcy, considering the removal of Article 370 as a pivotal step towards achieving comprehensive development. He emphasized the necessity of a robust Government in combating terrorism, highlighting the courageous decisions taken by the Modi Government to quell stone-pelting and isolate Pakistan and separatists from the world map.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Rajouri general secretary, Ranjeet Tara acclaimed the Modi Government for its unwavering commitment to national security and decisive governance.
Senior BJP leader, Yogesh Sharma said the emphasis on skill development and education are the revolutionary steps of the Modi Government.
He highlighted the Government’s dedication to fostering an inclusive society, where every citizen, regardless of religion, caste and gender, has the chance to thrive.
