JAMMU, Jan 15: The Akhil Bhartiye Mahajan Biradari Sangh (ABMBS) convened the Management Council and Supreme Council meeting of the Sangh here at Press Club of Jammu today.
During the meeting, glowing tribute were paid to Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, followed by highlighting the objective of the meeting by Harinder Gupta.
Gupta said that the Pran Pratishtha Day of Ram Lalla shall be celebrated as Diwali by the Sangh and appealed all the Mahajans worldwide to illuminate their homes and distribute lighting material in their neighbourhood.
He appealed to all the global communities to participate in the celebration, fostering mutual harmony. He further claimed that the Sangh shall establish a world-class school at Jammu-Samba Border to provide affordable education to 1000 students from diverse communities, and provide monthly rations to the economically weaker sections besides creating employment opportunities in the private sector for widows.
The agenda points were unanimously adopted, and approval was granted to the presented income and expenditure account by Ram Langer, Vice-Chairman Finance. The meeting decided to hold elections in March 2024 for the Chairman post. Meanwhile, Suneel Mahajan was elected as the President of the Election Committee.
Rajguru Gupta, General Secretary of Kalsotra Biradari, commended Mahesh Gupta’s initiatives, offering support from their Biradari under the guidance of Virender Kalsotra. Rajesh Gupta, cashier of Padotra Biradari, provided valuable suggestions for establishing an educational institute.
New founder members were honored with garlands, and the vote of thanks was presented by Ram Langer.
