JAMMU, Jan 15: A delegation of National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF) under the leadership of Front general secretary Sakoon Manir met with Director School Education (DSE) Jammu regarding burning issues of ReT Teachers.
The delegation demanded a comprehensive transfer policy in favour of ReT Teachers, transcition of Grade II and lll teachers on substantive posts, issuance of prior/post facto permission of teachers whose files are lying in CEO offices since August 2023, conversion of Grade lll teachers into grade II and regularization of left out ReT Teachers who have completed five years of service.
The members of the delegation expressed concerns regarding vision Document 2047 and removal of the clause of threat. They emphasized on timely DPC of Teachers to Masters every year, creation of separate Education Zone for Tehsil Kahra and Chirala, immediate implementation of UT Grades in favour of employees of J&K at par with other UTs of the country and restoration of OPS in J&K.
The Director School Education listened to the delegation very patiently and assured a swift action regarding the demands put forth by the Front. The delegation consisted of Sadiq Hussain (provincial advisor, NOPRUF) and provincial general secretary (AJKRETTF), Ashiq Hussain (district legal advisor NOPRUF), Vinod Kotwal, Faiz Ahmed and others.
