DIG RP Range holds introductory meeting with newly posted DySPs

RAJOURI, Jan 16: To make familiar with the Senior Police officers, an introductory cum familiarization meeting of newly posted DySPs in Rajouri-Poonch range was held here today.
The purpose of the meeting was to brief and sensitize the officers regarding the security challenges in the RP-Range and to prepare them for their better performance in these testing times.
Bhupinder Kumar, DySP SDPO Mendhar, Naveed Shoket, Vikram Sarmhal, Sumit Bhagat and Dr. Umar Urfan attended the meeting.
DIG RP Range Dr M Haseeb Mughal, welcomed the officers in the Range and wished them luck for a successful, stable, and purposeful tenure in the Range.
The officers were asked to acquire knowledge regarding the deployments and available equipment, resources in the field, so as to achieve success in their assigned tasks.
The current security scenario of the Range is the buzzword at the top levels.
A detailed presentation was made by the DIG Range, followed by the threadbare discussion regarding topography and deployments of security establishment in the Range. Besides background of terrorism & emerging security challenges as well border issues were held.
Stress was laid down to achieve success on CI front narcotic, Bovine Smuggling, Drone dropping and the generation of valuable human and technical intelligence.
It was further impressed upon the officers to develop high-level synergy with the field security agencies to have their valuable inputs and information.
Participant officers also shared their knowledge and field experiences with the DIG RP Range and assured him to work with full zeal and dedication to achieve visible results in their respective areas of responsibilities.
The meeting ended over a cup of tea and best wishes to the young officers.
