JAMMU, Jan 16: In a concerted effort to spread Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has made significant strides across various districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the Changia panchayat of Arnia block of Jammu District, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma led the VBSY yatra, showcasing the Government’s achievements and initiatives.
The MP engaged with locals, providing detailed information about welfare schemes and development projects in the region.
Meanwhile, in Rajouri District, the VBSY IEC vans traversed through multiple panchayats, including Hathal-A, Nallah, Changi Kangrial, and others.
The Yatra demonstrated its commitment to reaching every corner of the district, contributing to enhanced healthcare, education, and basic amenities.
Block Anantnag in the same District witnessed a surge in public involvement during the VBSY, covering panchayats like Donipawa, Uttersoo Nijigund, Anzulla, Chee, Aung, and Matipora.
The Yatra, launched on November 15, 2023, actively engaged over 2.53 lakh people within 50 days, spreading awareness about government welfare schemes.
Pulwama District also experienced the transformative impact of the VBSY, focused on fostering community development.
Six villages actively participated in the program, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision for a developed nation. The Sankalp Pledge and IEC vans played a crucial role in conveying the message effectively.
In Ramban District, the VBSY initiative, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, reached the majority of Panchayats.
Visiting areas like Panchayat Shagan, Trigam Lower-A, and ward no-6 Batti Mohalla, the VBSY engaged over 92,000 individuals, including 36,000 women, across 143 Panchayats and 3 Municipalities.
