JAMMU, June 25: The executive members of Ward No. 6 Welfare Committee, Jammu City, Jammu held a meeting and discussed the problems faced by them.
The executive members expressed anguish over the indifferent and pathetic attitude of not only the public representatives of the area but also the concerned officers of different departments.
Under the chairmanship of Anwar Choudhary, various problems of serious nature were discussed particularly unsafe declared PHE water tank located at Upper Gujjar Nagar and Jogi Gate, Jammu, which has developed huge cracks, cleavages and shafts. Repeated requests to concerned Chief Engineer and Minister of PHE, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, have not yielded any results, the members stated.
They have threatened to launch an agitation against the indifferent attitude of the administration towards the residents of Ward No. 6.
