KALAKOTE, Jan 18: Former MLA and senior DPAP leader Ashok Sharma today urged the J&K UT administration to restore ownership right to State and Custodian land holders in Jammu and Kashmir.
A facilitation ceremony of newly elected DPAP office bearers of Panchayat and Municipal Ward Committees of Kalakote Block was held here today in presence of ex- MLA, Ashok Sharma, Member Working Committee, Zonal presidents Ch Gharu Ram, ex Minister and Zahid Malik.
Ashok Sharma while speaking on the occasion expressed concern over the anti-farmer policy of the Government and demanded restoration of ownership rights to the State and Custodian land holders ensuring protection of their livelihood.
He expressed happiness over the healthy response with larger participation in Panchayat level meetings and also electing committees of DPAP for Panchyats and Municipal Wards of Kalakote Block. He also assured the office bearers of full respect and support on behalf of the party.
Ch Gharu Ram in his address said that the younger generation is under the attack of drug menace and facing threat of life. He claimed that DPAP under the stewardship of former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad getting overwhelming response of the people and will form next Government in J&K.
