Art works of Sharma displayed at national level exhibition

JAMMU, Jan 18: Art works of O.P Sharma, a senior artist from Jammu have been displayed at a national level art exhibition ‘Canvas Chronicle’ where the art works of 33 eminent artists of the country has been displayed while auction of art works from the private collection of Studio Akshay Pune has also been organized by Art Pune Foundation, Pune.
The exhibition was inaugurated on January 17 at Raja Ravi Verma Art Gallery, Pune by Priya Hajela, Fiction Writer, the Author of ‘Ladies Tailor’, Harper Collins, India.
Art works of Amit Dhane, Ajay Deshpande, Ahobilam Prabhakar, Baldev Gambhir, Basavraj Jane, Bhaurao R Badode, Deepak Bhagat, Devan Bhosale, Dinkar Yadhav, Jayparkash Jagtap, Jayparkash Chauhan, O.P Sharma, Prakash Borude, Prem Avale, Murali Lahoti, Rajani Phonsalkar, Ram Viranjan, Ramwsh Bhosale, Rajesh Patil, Sachin Naik, Samarsing Thakur, Shyam Dhavaley, Sandeep Chhatraband, Shashikant Mundi, Shirish Deshmukh, Sudhir Meher, Suhas Bahulkar, Sushila Bodade, Shubhada Bhosale, Tailor Shrinvas, Umakant Kanade, Vijay Bhosale and V.S Rahi have been displayed in the exhibition.
O.P Sharma is a renowned artist and photographer of Jammu and he has been active in promoting art and culture for the last 40 years.
He has participated in many national and international art exhibitions, art camps and seminars and has been awarded at State and national level by many organizations.
O.P Sharma has been nominated by Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, president, Indian Academy of Fine Arts (IAFA), Amritsar as Advisor for the Centenary Celebrations (2023- 2028) of Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar (Punjab).
The exhibition at Pune would be there till January 28, 2024.
