SAMBA, Jan 18: Murder accused escaped from Ramgarh Police Station (PS) in Samba late last night.

According to sources, Sahil Sharma alias Gilka, son of Rakesh Kumar of Vijaypur who was arrested in case FIR No.93/2023 U/S 302,148,149 IPC , 3/4/25, A. Act and lodged in lock up of Police Station Ramgarh has fled away from police custody.
He was arrested a few days ago along with three other accused. They all are involved in the Akshay murder case which they committed on 25 Dec 2023 in Gudwal area of Ramgarh Police Station jurisdiction.
In this regard Samba Police has launched search operations at different locations but so far has not achieved any success.
