Jammu, Feb 6: Film on Kashmir ‘Identity Card’ screened in just concluded International Film Festival concluded at Jaipur.
Team of  ‘Identity Card’ including star cast was also present on this occation. Panel of jury in Jaipur International Film Festival has appreciated the subject and screening of film. Recently, the film was too, screened in London.
Tariq Khan, co-producer of the film said in Jaipur International Film Festival, more than 1500 films had applied for nomination. The jury of the festival selected 150 films for screening including Identity Card. This festival was organized at Jaipur from Feb 3 to 5 at Industrial Bhawan, Jaipur. Directors, producers and other persons linked with film, from abroad and India, watched this film.  Film was widely appreciated by film makers and story writers with unique subject.
After screening film, the team paid  obeisance at Dargah of Khawaja Mohiudin Chishti at Ajmer. They prayed for the success of film and hoped this film would be released soon in India.
Tariq Khan, co-producer, a native of the Bafliaz of Surankote in Poonch district, had never even thought in his imagination of making career in acting besides producing films. Khan’s hard work, dedication and passion for acting in films paid rich dividends. After spending considerable time in Mumbai film industry and acquiring adequate experience, Tariq made film titled “Identity Card” (Show your Identity Card) based on the happenings of last 22 years in troublesome Jammu and Kashmir. Director of the film Rahat, Kazmi is too, son of soil and hails from the same border district.
