JAMMU, Jan 20: In a series of public outreach programs and development initiatives under the transformative Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), top officials convened public darbars, organized yatras, and engaged with communities to address grievances and promote Government schemes across Jammu & Kashmir.
Director in the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Prabhari Officer for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Sangeeta Gupta, addressed a mega public outreach at Government Higher Secondary School Laiter in Pouni block of Reasi District.
Gupta highlighted the Government’s commitment to last-mile delivery of public services and emphasized the importance of good governance.
Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Vikramjit Singh, conducted a public darbar at Khellani, Bhalla block of Doda District, as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
Singh prioritized addressing public grievances and overseeing ongoing development works, emphasizing the importance of government schemes for uplifting living standards.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) successfully organized a Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp at Lakut Dal.
The event facilitated interactions between local officers, officials, and citizens to bridge information gaps, educate the community about different schemes, and empower the local populace.
The progress of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Anantnag District was evident in Block Hiller, with increased community involvement and engagement.
Over 2.53 lakh people actively participated, benefiting from Government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and health screenings during the yatra.

The program involved promotional videos, awareness on health/golden cards, and highlighting various Government schemes for the community’s benefit.
The Director of the Sericulture Development Department J&K, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, visited Ganderbal, participating in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Town Hall.
The event emphasized self-employment schemes, encouraging local youth to explore opportunities in the sericulture sector.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary in Ramban, is gaining momentum.
With a remarkable 96,000 participants, including 36,600 women, this 53-day journey aims to boost the implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes in the district.
Today, the Yatra reached Panchayats in Dharam A, Gundi, and Ward No-02 Main Bazar in Banihal town, highlighting its commitment to inclusivity.
Covering the entire district over the past 53 days, the Yatra has become a powerful platform to inform people about various Government schemes.
