POONCH, Jan 21: A woman belonging to Sawjian area of tehsil Mandi, gave birth to triplets in District Hospital Poonch here today.
Official sources said that the woman was admitted to Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch for delivery on Saturday. She was operated upon in the hospital this evening by Dr Shikha with her team and the woman gave birth to three healthy baby girls.
She was identified as Saima Akhter, wife of Mohd Arif, resident of Sawjian area in tehsil Mandi of district Poonch. “Mother and her three babies are fine” the doctor said.
