JAMMU, Jan 22: Police in Domana area here claimed today they have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest in a case for the past 11 years.
According to a police spokesperson, Rishi Kumar of Resham Ghar Colony, Krishna Nagar, Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 219/01 Under Sections 454, 380 of the RPC registered at Police Station Domana in 2013.
A warrant of arrest Under Section 299 CrPC was also issued against the criminal by the Court of Special Municipal Mobile Magistrate JMIC Jammu, they said.
Acting on a tip off generated by the police, the accused was arrested by a team of Police Station Domana from a suspected place, police said.
They added that the accused would be produced before the court soon.
