Transformative VBSY leaves lasting impact across J&K

JAMMU, Jan 22: The transformative Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has been leaving a lasting impact across different districts of Jammu and Kashmir by enhancing the quality of life of the residents and ensuring effective execution of Government schemes.
In Rajouri District, the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van served as a dynamic platform, engaging local communities in Godhar, Dhangri Lower, Baljarallan, Argi, Kakora Upper, Kakora Lower, Pallulian, and Tunditrar.
The Yatra’s commitment to reaching every corner of the district reflected in the enhanced access to healthcare, education, and basic amenities, contributing to overall progress.
Pulwama District witnessed unprecedented milestones as the Yatra, inspired by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, touched every municipality, panchayat, and village.
The Yatra’s transformative impact is evident in firsthand accounts from beneficiaries, highlighting the positive changes brought about by various government schemes.
In Block Chittergul, the VBSY unfolded gracefully, with the IEC Van journeying through Chittergul C, Cherpora, Chaklipora, Dethoo A, Dethoo B, Panchalthan, and Chowgam Gram Panchayats. The surge in community engagement reflects collective dedication to advancing the region.
Anantnag District witnessed a staggering engagement of over 2.53 lakh people, showcasing the Yatra’s potential in unifying the populace towards the common goal of a developed India.
On-ground services like PM Ujjwala Yojana enrolments, MY Bharat volunteer registrations, and distribution of Ayushman cards complemented the Yatra’s outreach.
In Ramban District, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Yatra gained momentum with a remarkable 98,000 participants, including 37,500 women.
The 54-day journey aimed to boost the implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes, reaching Panchayats in Sumber Upper A, Dheeda, and Ward No-03 Nagbal in Banihal town.
“Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” allowed beneficiaries to share heart-touching stories of positive change.
Under the Deputy Commissioner’s guidance, all departments actively promoted and extended the benefits of their respective schemes.
The Yatra celebrated Ramban District’s diverse heritage through cultural programs, enriching its cultural tapestry.
