Bovine smuggler dies, 3 others held in HP

JAMMU, Jan 24: Body of a Kishtwar resident was recovered and three of his other colleagues were arrested in the neighboring Himachal Pradesh (HP) today allegedly for bovine smuggling.
The deceased has been identified as Imran, son of Nizam Din, resident of Affani Kijai, Padder.
As per reports four persons of Kishtwar were intercepted by locals of HP in Purthai area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kellar after taking them as bovine smugglers as they were carrying bovine animals in their vehicle and were on way to Kishtwar.
After the Police came into action cops recovered dead body of Imran and arrested the three others.
Police sources informed that the deceased died of fall while escaping the mob.
His family members have left for HP to bring the body back home.
