KHC discusses grievances

JAMMU, Feb 7: Kashmiri Hindu Conference, (KHC) executive body met under the chairmanship of M L Thusoo and discussed the grievances of its community.
The members expressed their utmost dissatisfaction on the unbecoming attitude of the State Government headed by Omar Abdullah  who makes a routine mention about the minority, their return and rehabilitation but practically does nothing concrete.
Mr Thusoo said “ more than 500 KPs were brutally murdered but no body was booked for the crime. No concrete measures are planned for the lasting stay of the community in the Valley, he added.
P L Koul Budgami convener of the organisation said “the Government is mere customary in mentioning KPs at different occasions to display secular traditions of the party. The Government should  adopt a sincere approach in solving the problems of the community”.
Other who spoke in the meeting include S N Raina, M L Daftari, A K Bhat and G L Koul.
