REASI, Jan 25: District Unit of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) Reasi has submitted the memorandum to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi through Deputy Commissioner Reasi.
Addressing a press conference here today, Vaibhav Ruckwal, State Secretary appealed PM Modi to implement 27% reservation quota to OBCs in view of the changed nomenclature from OSC to OBC for which Government Gazette too has been released but without reservation quota.
He further appealed to PM Modi that no doubt the Government is giving statements over the OBC reservation in Panchayats and ULBs but no formal orders have been issued, AIBCU will welcome the Govt if such orders are issued for such local elections.
Nitin Mukesh, Naresh Verma, Adv. Ajay Salalia, Maninder Kumar, Vikrant Malhotra, Ajay Salaria, Deepak Kumar, and Sumit Verma were also present on this occasion.
