JAMMU, Jan 25: A notorious drug peddler has been arrested under PIT NDPS by Police Post Sarwal.
The accused identified as Tajinder Paul Singh son of Hardev Singh resident of Roulki (Bakshi Nagar, Jammu) was arrested during a raid at suspected place conducted by a team of Police Post Sarwal led by SHO Police Station Bakshi Nagar and assisted by Incharge Police Post Sarwal, following a tip off. He was later shifted to jail.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused person was a notorious criminal and was involved in many cases of drug peddling and dealing in narcotics. Also a warrant of arrest was issued against the said accused by Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
The accused was involved in separate cases vide FIR Number 151/2019 US 8/21/22/25/29/NDPS Act of PS Nowabad, FIR Number 53/2023 US 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Bus Stand Jammu and FIR Number 270/2015 US 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Gandhi Nagar.
