JAMMU, Feb 8: Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler along with six kilograms of charas.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Mohammad Sharief Chouhan told that on specific inputs, police party from Doda police station intercepted a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02-0667 near Dak Bungalow Doda for checking.
During search, 3 packets containing 6 kilograms of charas were recovered from the bag of Hans Raj, son of Ram Singh of Kastigarh, SSP said, adding that the narcotic smuggler was arrested.
A case under FIR number 22/14 under Section 8/20/25/29 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
