JAMMU, Jan 28: A Prant Adhiveshan Samaroh for Divyangs was hosted at Lord Krishna High School in Samba, today.
Attended by over 500 divyangs and their families, the event marked a pivotal juncture in fostering a more accessible and understanding society.
The Chief Guest, Yasha Mudgal, Commissioner Secretary, Tourism Department, Jammu and Kashmir, illuminated the occasion, embodying the commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities.
The gathering featured activities and discussions addressing the challenges faced by Divyangs, with insights shared by DIG Shakti Pathak, a dedicated officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), emphasizing the importance of respecting Divyangs’ rights.
Abhay Pargal Gupta, National Joint Secretary of Saksham, detailed the organization’s achievements and highlighted its role in providing jobs, accessibility, and supporting government initiatives for divyangs as a humanitarian mission.
