CHOWKI CHAURA, Jan 28: Senior BJP leader and District Development Councillor, Pandit Suresh Sharma here today started the work of drinking water project which shall be built at an expenditure of Rs. 2.35 crore under Jal Jeevan Mission in village Budh-Chedayi, Panchayat Kanedi.
On completion, this project will have a dug well, a new filtration plant with replacing of old water supply pipes and taps in the houses having no tap presently.
Addressing the people on this occasion, Suresh Sharma said that being a remote hilly area, people in Budh-Chedayi often face water problems.
AEE, Rakesh Gupta; former Sarpanch, Ashu Devi; former Pach, Baba Kali; Deepak Kumar, Purushottam Lal, Satpal, Vijay Kumar and other dignitaries of the village were also present on the occasion.
