JAMMU, Jan 30: AARK Global, a Silicon Valley-based engineering services company with its headquarters in Jammu & Kashmir, earned the ‘Best Upcoming Startup’ Award at the UDAY Startup Summit held here today.
The event was organized by FICCI JK&L and SCHEAN India Holdings in partnership with the Jammu & Kashmir government.
AARK Global’s engaging booth and entrepreneurial spirit impressed the judges, culminating in their recognition as the “Best Upcoming Startup in Jammu & Kashmir.
The award was presented by Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to the LG of Jammu & Kashmir, was a testament to the company’s commitment to the region.
While receiving the award, Vinay Sharma, Head of the operation J&K said “This award is a true honor and reflects our dedication to building a vibrant engineering and R&D hub in Jammu & Kashmir.”
Founder & CEO Amit Kachroo, speaking from the USA, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing their commitment to empowering local talent with global opportunities.
AARK Global’s journey in Jammu began in July 2023, driven by Kachroo’s vision to bridge the gap between local talent and global opportunities. The company has already attracted over 70 skilled engineers and aims to onboard 2,000 by the end of 2024.
