Sarpanch initiates road construction work

JAMMU, Jan 30: On the strong public demand, the road construction work from Kheyaaran to Khanpur in Panchayat Sari Rakwalan, Jammu, was initiated by the Sarpanch Shiv Dev Singh Salaria here today.
The construction work of this road has started after forty years, as the locals were demanding improved road connectivity and the infrastructure on this stretch.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Shri Shiv Dev Singh Salaria, said that the commencement of this road construction, is a significant milestone in the region’s development. The initiation of this project not only fulfils a longstanding aspiration but also stands testament to our unwavering dedication to the betterment of the community.
“The commencement of this road construction project not only addresses immediate infrastructural needs but also promises long-term benefits, fostering economic growth, accessibility, and connectivity for the entire region. The community eagerly anticipates the successful completion of this project and the positive impact it will have on their lives,” he added.
The groundbreaking ceremony witnessed the presence of eminent personalities included Tilak Raj (Lambardaar), Ganesh Kumar (Panch), Brahm Dutt, Jai Krishan, Narayan Dutt, Ravi Kumar, Darshan Verma, Suraj Singh, Balbir Chand and Ram Murti Sharma.
