JAMMU, Jan 31: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kathua Dr Vijay Raina today flagged off an `Awareness Van’ from CMO complex which will inform the community about illness.
The Van will visit different routes and blocks to spread awareness of signs, value of early diagnosis and treatment about the diseases.
On the occasion, the District Health Officer delivered a lecture awaring masses about the diseases and effectiveness of medicines, prevention and early detections which are key to curb the diseases.
CMO Kathua Dr Vijay Raina said it was crucial that such awareness campaigns are regularly held to enable people to learn about prevention of diseases.
