NHMEA delegation meets Dulloo

JAMMU, Feb 1: A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir NHM Employees Association (NHMEA) led by its president Rohit Seth today met Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and projected their long-standing demands.
Joined by Babu Hussain Malik (president of the EJAC) and Dr Raman (advisor of the Association), Rohit Seth emphasized the critical role played by NHM employees in the healthcare system and highlighted several pressing concerns.
Rohit Seth, with characteristic eloquence, laid out the association’s demands, including a fair and transparent transfer policy, elimination of salary disparity with NHM employees in other states, release of pending salaries, and regularization of their positions. He presented compelling data showcasing the NHM’s impact and underscored the hardships faced by its dedicated workforce due to inadequate compensation and job insecurity.
The Chief Secretary listened patiently to the concerns raised by the delegation and assured the delegation members of a thorough review of their demands. He promised to initiate constructive dialogue to find equitable solutions.
