NEW DELHI, Feb 10: Silver prices gained 0.80 per cent to Rs 44,722 per kg in futures trading today after participants enlarged positions amid a firming trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March gained Rs 353, or 0.80 per cent to Rs 44,722 per kg in business turnover of 2324 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in May moved up by Rs 358, or 0.79 per cent to Rs 45,659 per kg in 57 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in silver prices at futures trade was mostly in line with a firming trend in the global markets.
Globally, silver gained 0.45 per cent to trade at 20.09 dollar an ounce in Singapore. (AGENCIES)
