JAMMU, Feb 2: The Government issued orders of promotion of three Superintending Engineers as Chief Engineers and shifted/ posted eight Chief Engineers and four SEs, besides others in the Jal Shakti Department.
Three SEs promoted as CEs are- Vivek Kohli, Rakesh Kumar Mahajan and Rajinder Kumar Sharma. Consequent upon the above promotions, eight Chief Engineers were transferred/posted.
Sanjeev Malhotra, Chief Engineer, PHE Kashmir has been shifted and posted as Chief Engg Civil Investigation Division Kashmir vice Vikas Sharma, who has been shifted to Civil Investigation Division Jammu.
Mohd Salim Malik, awaiting orders of posting has been placed as Chief Engg Ravi Tawi Canal Jammu. Gurcharan Singh, awaiting orders of posting has been placed as Director Technical ERA. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Technical Advisor Jal Shakti Mission J&K.
Anil Kumar Gupta, awaiting orders of posting has been deputed to JKPDC for further posting in Rattle Hydel Power Project; Vivek Kohli has been posted as Chief Engineer PHE Kashmir, RK Mahajan shall continue to work as SE Hyd Circle Udhampur till further orders while Rajinder Kumar Sharma has been posted as Chief Engineer in Bagliar Hydro-electric Power Project (JKPDC).
Meanwhile, Bodh Raj, SE PHE Mech Rural Circle Jammu shall hold the charge of the post of SE Hyd Circle, Jammu in addition to his own duties; Rajeev Kumar Pandoh, SE Civil Bagliar Hydro Electric Project has been shifted and posted as SE Hyd Circle Doda while Sunil Kumar Sharma, SE Shapur Kandi Dam Project has been shifted and posted as SE Hyd Circle, Baramulla. He shall also hold the addl charge of the post of SE Hyd Circle Kupwara and SE Hyd Circle, Budgam. Abdul Waheed Iqbal, SE Mech in the office of CE PHE Kashmir has been posted in Irrigation and Flood Control Mech Circle Srinagar.
Peerzada, Shayeq Ahmed XEn Civil shall hold the addl charge of the post of XEn Water Works Div Srinagar while Abdul Rashid Wani, XEn PHE Div Shopian shall hold the additional charge of the post of XEn Irrigation Division Shopian.
Meanwhile, Government has accorded regular promotion to 22 Assistant Engineers (Degree Holders) as Assistant Executive Engineers in Jal Shakti. They are- Sanji Ram Sharma, Mohd Altaf Hussain, Vikram Dogra, Anil Kumar, Manzoor Ali, Anil Gupta, Bilal Ahmed Malik, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Mohd Ayoob, Rajesh Kachroo, Shabir Hussain Alamgeer, Nayema Firdous, Rajesh Singh, Malik Bashrat Alam, Sumeet Kumar, Pawan Kumar Rajwal, Mudasir Ahmed Malik, Mohd Farooq Dar, Waseefa Riyaz, Surinder Singh Sajad Ahmed and Mohd Irfan Molvi.
