JAMMU, Feb 3: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Dr Sunil Gupta, today paid a surprise visit to Police Post (PP) Parade and emphasized on proper maintenance of complaint register and time-bound redressal of the public grievances.
The DIG JSK Range, directed the incharge Police Post to work effectively towards curbing the menace of chain snatching, vehicle thefts, drug smuggling, de-congestion of city through anti-encroachment drives, besides maintaining cleanliness around the Police Post.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu has also been directed to open a Cyber Cell in Police Post Parade.
