JAMMU, Feb 3: Police in Khour area here today claimed to have booked a notorious drug peddler under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
Raj Ali of Prangla, Tehsil Khour, District Jammu, was wanted in several criminal cases as 5 FIRs were registered against him in different police stations of Jammu, police said.
They said an arrest warrant against the accused under PSA was also issued by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
Executing the warrant, a team of Police Station Khour, led by SHO concerned under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Sharma, raided a suspected location and arrested the accused besides shifting him to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
