‘We Care Welfare Society’ holds free medical camp at Jandrah

JAMMU, Feb 6: We Care Welfare Society (Regd) J&K, a self- funded Organisation held a free medical camp for Eye, General Health and Heart Check-Up at Government Middle School, Sahanoo, Jandrah, Panchayat Dhan, Block Dansal. The Society organised such medical camps on a regular basis for the benefit of downtrodden and underprivileged people.
Dr Rohan Sood, Ophthalmologist and his team of famous leading eye hospital ‘Sood Eye Clinic Centre’ (A Unit of Dr Agarwal ) Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, examined eye patients for all eye diseases and ailments. Dr Neeraj Gupta, well – known Cardiologist and Head of ASCOMS Artemis Heart Centre, Jammu and his team, examined patients of general health and heart related problems.
Dr Arvind Sharma, a senior Physician from Medanta Hospital, Gurugram and his team of para-medical staff, examined patients of general health related problems with much commitment and dedication.
Total 150 patients were examined and those screened for Cataract surgery will be subsequently operated upon in the eye hospital. Some patients of health related problems were referred further to Artemis hospital. Facilities of ECG, BP, blood sugar (F), and eye testing with latest equipment were provided at the camp. Medicines and spectacles were also distributed to the patients free of cost.
On behalf of WCWS, Chairman M. Sadiq Nargal expressed gratitude and appreciation to all Doctors and their entire paramedical staff, for rendering free medical service at this medical camp in spite of their busy schedule. WCWS President Dr R K Gupta thanked Sarpanch Dhan, Onkar Singh Jamwal and his team Panch Onkar Singh, Naib Panch Bal Krishan Sharma and School staff, who helped in holding this camp and providing necessary facilities. General Secretary Rajinder Gupta also expressed gratitude to all members who participated in the camp and helped in making this camp a great success with full commitment and dedication.
