Srinagar, Feb 6: Cracking down on illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, police today seized two vehicles and arrested two drivers in Baramulla.
Authorities stated that police parties, led by SHO PS Kunzer under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg, seized two vehicles and arrested two drivers involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Kunzer & Lalpora.
The accused drivers have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Majeed, resident of Treran Tangmarg, and Hilal Ahmad Lone, son of Manzoor Ahmad, resident of Singhpora Pattan, police confirmed.
Accordingly, police said, cases under relevant sections of the law have been registered in Police Station Kunzer, and further investigation has been initiated.
