JK Bank holds DLRC meeting

BARAMULLA, Feb 11: Jammu and Kashmir Bank held DLRC meeting here at Dak Bungalow, wherein District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, reviewed the achievements under the credit plan.
During the meeting it was revealed that under District credit plan 2013-14, Baramulla district has recorded an achievement of 48.41% as on December 31, 2013 while an amount of Rs 595.15 crore was disbursed among 29314 beneficiaries under District plan under various schemes.
The meeting further said that under Priority Sector Advances the district has achieved a growth of 34% on year on year basis while under agriculture sector 50% growth has been made on year on year basis.
The District Development Commissioner who chaired the meeting advised all the banks and the sponsoring agencies to work with cooperation, coordination and cohesion to achieve the goals and targets of development and progress besides generation of employment for unemployed youth of the district.
He also directed various agencies to conduct awareness programmes at Village/block levels to generate proper awareness among the people.
