JAMMU, Feb 10: The first convention of Women Officers of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India, Srinagar Division under the banner of Federation of LIC Class-I Officers Association was held here today.
About 25 women officers participated in the convention where Neelu and Sucharita were chief guests.
The participants deliberated upon the working conditions and welfare measures launched by LIC of India.
The meeting was presided over by Divisional President, Jatinder Bhat and addressed by Shreshtha Sharma, women convener of the Association and Vijay Khajuria, Divisional secretary.
Others who addressed the gathering were Nasreen Jan, Nazneen, Asifa Qadir, Preet Suri, Monika and Sunaina Pandita.
Swati Sharma, Executive Member conducted the proceedings and vote of thanks was given by Kamlesh Kumari.
The meeting concluded with a slogan ‘Growth of LIC of India is the growth of all employees of LIC’.
It was stressed to spread the message of life insurance to every nook and corner of the country and render service to the people with zeal and smile.
