Displaced Wing leaders of DPAP call on RRC

JAMMU, Feb 10: Kashmiri Displaced Wing of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) J&K leaders Sanjay Dhar its president, Piaray Lal Pandita, chairman, Raj Kumar Tickoo general secretary, Dauzy Dhar Mahila president, Renu Razdan Mahila secretary,Vikas Koul secretary, Charanjeet Singh publicity secretary and others today called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani here, today and highlighted the genuine problems being faced by the people of J&K, in general and of Kashmiri displaced people in particular.
A detailed memorandum was also submitted to him by the delegation in this regard.
The delegation apprised RRC of the problems being faced by the people of the UT in general and migrants in particular. During their detailed meeting with his respected Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner all these leaders raised the genuine issues of citizens of J&K like unemployment, relaxation of norms for overaged youth, special recruitment drive in police with norms, relaxations for State and migrant youth as well, providing of sufficient police personnel with two exit/entry posts in Jagti Camp.
The delegation expressed gratitude to RRC for listening the problems and giving assurance for redressing all the genuine issues.
