Dr Kohli conferred with Godrej P Karai oration

JAMMU, Feb 10: Dr Arvind Kohli, noted CTV Surgeon from Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, has been conferred with Godrej P Karai oration for the year 2024 by Indian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons.
Besides Dr Arvind Kohli, Godrej P Karai orations were conferred to several eminent faculties across the country for their sustained contributions in the specialty of CTVS. The honour was awarded to Dr Kohli in recognition of-sustained work done by him in CTVS branch.
Dr Kohli presented Chest Trauma challenges and response action work done at GMC Jammu at the annual meeting of the Association today. He presented another work about Surgical Management of Pulmonary hydratids and its complication.
He is a luminous of JIPMER Pondicherry and awardee of PS Narayan medal for honours in MCh. He is a holder of Reeves Betts Fellowship award for Cardiac Surgery and SS Anand Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery awarded by IACTS. He had been the Vascular Society of India fellow at St Mary Hospital, Imperial College London in advanced Vascular Surgery for year 2009
Dr Kohli has been the organizing secretary of annual meeting of VSI 2008 and 2018 at Jammu, organizing secretary of IACTS midterm thoracic CME in 2019, ANZCTVS meet (March 2023) and Cardiovascular Face off training session at GMC Jammu (December 2023).
