JAMMU, Feb 12: A seminar on “Attention, Concentration, and Excellence (ACE),” hosted by the Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing here at Chak Bhalwal drew eager participation from MSc (N), PBSc (N), and BSc (N) students, alongside the nursing faculty.
A statement said that the event aimed at enhancing awareness and skills related to attention and concentration techniques.
Priya Sharma, a first-year MSc Nursing student, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished speaker and attendees, setting the tone for an engaging and informative session.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting, graced by Deepti Jandial, Behavioural Skills Facilitator, Executive Life Coach, and Psychometric Assessor, along with MS Katoch, Chairman of RGCN, Abhimanyu Katoch, Managing Director, and Anjana Bavouria, Director of RGCN, accompanied by faculty members and students.
The programme gained momentum as Deepti Jandial conducted an enlightening session, offering insights and live exercises on focusing thoughts and addressing ongoing concentration challenges.
Attendees actively participated in various activities aimed at enhancing accuracy and learning effective strategies to manage concentration fluctuations.
Throughout the session, mindfulness activities were integrated, providing both students and staff with practical tools to cultivate and sustain focus amidst distractions.
