JAMMU, Feb 12: An orientation program for the students of BBA & BCA 2nd semester was organized by the Institute of Management on the college campus, here today.
Prof J R Dhotra welcomed the students for the upcoming semester. This was followed by an informative session by guest of honour Ashish Kohli, who interacted with the students of the institute. This session entailed the theme of career options in Journalism. The session was extremely insightful and informative for the students.
Following this session, Coordinator Management and Computer Science Department, Er Divya Jamwal and Sheetal Sharma addressed the students and gave an elaborative description of the subject in the upcoming semester of BBA & BCA.
To continue with the theme of student enhancement, an IT workshop was organised for the students to learn and practice their MS office skills. The workshop was conducted by Computer Science Department faculty, Priya Gupta and Nisha Langeh. The workshop focused on Word skills.
The orientation program concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS.
