J&K Bank distributes 170 Kissan Credit Cards

RAJOURI, June 26: Taking forward the commitment to provide easy loan to the farmers, J&K Bank today organized a Kissan Credit Card mela at village. Bindi
J&K Bank Zonal Head, Jammu (West), R K Chhibber, distributed the Kissan Credit cards among 170 farmers. Lead District Manager Rajouri, Arvind Kapoor, Harjinder Singh Sason, Branch Head Jawahar Nagar, CL Sharma and BH Rajouri main, Ravi Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The zonal head in his address apprised the farmers about various initiatives taken by JK Bank to boost the agriculture sector. He said that Bank is keen to bring all the farmers into the fold of KCC scheme. He appealed the farmers to take full benefit of the loan schemes available at very low rate of interest.
Notably, the bank extends the benefits of interest subvention scheme of the Government of India. Currently, the bank charges just 7% rate of interest and would extend further subvention of 3% if the farmer adjusts the loan within one year. This means, the farmer will have to pay just 4%. interest.
Chhibber also gave details of other tailored made schemes specially designed for educated youth.
