JAMMU, Feb 13: Dogri Sanstha Jammu and Jammu & Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti Jammu released Hindi-Dogri Dictionary during a simple but an impressive function organized at Dogri Bhawan, Karan Nagar Jammu.
On this occasion Prof Sunil Babu Kulkarni, Director Central Hindi Directorate Agra and Central Hindi Directorate New Delhi was the chief guest.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof Kulkarni said that it is appreciable that a Hindi-Dogri Dictionary has been completed and released today as it is of utmost importance for litterateurs in particular and for language lovers in general. He also hoped that modifications and additions in Dictionary should become a regular feature so that more words be added thus helping in increasing vocabulary and having a better understanding of words and understand what they mean in real terms.
Prof Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu, Prof Veena Gupta, Vice President Dogri Sanstha Jammu and Prof Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Secretary J&K Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti Jammu also shared their views on the importance of Dictionary in literature.
