KATHUA, Feb 14: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing development projects under the District Capex Budget 2023-24 at a meeting held in the DC office complex. The review aimed to assess the performance and status of the in progress projects across different sectors.
Dr. Minhas meticulously examined the progress of each sector and solicited feedback on the current status of developmental works. During the department-wise review, he underscored the importance of expediting the completion of pending projects within the district, emphasizing the need for quality asset creation within stipulated timeframes.
While reviewing new projects initiated under this year’s CAPEX, Dr. Minhas emphasized the imperative of timely execution across all departments. He urged concerned authorities to ensure the swift completion of ongoing projects while adhering to established timelines.
Recognizing the pivotal role of each department, Dr. Minhas emphasized the necessity of concerted efforts and close attention at the grassroots level to achieve project objectives effectively. He further advised departments to prioritize critical initiatives such as school and hospital upgrades, community hall construction, and the establishment of block-level libraries.
