BSP will contest all Lok Sabha seats in J&K: Rana

HIRANAGAR, Feb 15:  Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), J&K unit president Darshan Rana today said that BSP will contest all the Lok Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir.
Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections, a meeting was organized by the J&K Bahujan Samaj Party unit today at village Sanjhi Morh of Hiranagar Assembly constituency of district Kathua. J&K unit president of Bahujan Samaj Party Darshan Rana convened the meeting. Party general secretary Sunil Majotra, District president Raman Kumar, senior party leaders Satpal Baboria and Hari Chand along with a large number of Party workers attended the meeting.
On this occasion, BSP president Darshan Rana said that Lok Sabha elections can be announced by the Election Commission at any time, due to which the party workers should be fully prepared for these elections. He said BSP has decided to field its candidates on all the Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir and soon these will be announced by the party high command.
He said BSP has been strong in district Kathua in the past too and it is expected that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as well as assembly elections, the party will contest the elections with strength and will win. Rana said that BSP is continuously running a public relations campaign with party workers and the names of the candidates are also being discussed.
On this occasion, District president Raman Kumar said that Bahujan Samaj Party will contest the Assembly elections with strength in district Kathua. He said that soon new units will be formed by the party and new faces will be given responsibilities. During the meeting, other party leaders and workers also expressed their views and gave suggestions to strengthen the party.
