JAMMU, Feb 15: Balvinder Singh, renowned social activist and spokesperson Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust along with Manjit Singh Bali, Jatinder Singh Lucky Ex- Vice Chairman Cantonment Board Jammu today disclosed that a grand Gurmat Samagam is being organized by Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust in the memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Danna under the patronage of Dera Mukhi Sant Tejwant Singh Ji, on Feburary 18 from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
Talking to media-persons they said that Harjinder Singh Dhami, president Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Amritsar along with Rajinder Singh Mehta are especially coming to grace the occasion.
Besides local Ragi Jathas, various prominent Ragi Jathas, Pracharaks and other religious personalities from outside J&K shall grace the occasion. Prominent among those are Bhai Shubdeep Singh Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Bhai Tavneet Singh from Chandigarh.
Local prominent Ragi Jathas of Jammu & Kashmir who shall also recite Shabad Kirtan are Bhai Davinder Singh, Bhai Kulwant Singh, Bhai Jagjit Singh, Bhai Jagtar Singh and Bhai Jagir Singh both Hazuri Ragi Sant Pura Danna. Bhai Harpinder Singh, Incharge (SGPC) Sikh Mission Jammu Kashmir & Bhai Balwant Singh Katha Wachak shall also grace the occasion.
The programme is being organised with the cooperation of various organisations specially Joginder Singh Bali and Updesh Kour Bali (Hong Kong Waley) and Advocate Surinder Kour.
Those present in the press conference, include- Tejinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Amrik Singh, Rajinder Singh Sudan, Janak Singh, Jatinder Singh Vice Chairman Cantonment, Narinder Pal Singh, Piara Singh and Sharanjit Singh Shunty.
They appealed to all the people of Jammu, particularly the Sikh Sangat to participate in the Gurmat Samagam and seek the blessings of Akal Purakh Wahe Guru.
The Trust have also made arrangements to pick and drop the devotees from different locations like Digiana Camp, Bandhu Rakh, Baba Deep Singh Nagar, Seora, Nanak Nagar, Preet Nagar etc.
