LEH, Feb 16: With the approval of Election Commission of India (ECI), Sonam Chosjor has been appointed as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for the Union Territory of Ladakh.
“In the interest of administration, and with the approval of ECI, it is hereby ordered that Sonam Chosjor, shall be appointed as the Joint CEO for the UT of Ladakh with immediate effect,” an order issued by Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) said.
It has been further ordered that the officer shall hold the additional charge of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, in addition to his own duties, until further orders.
