JAMMU, Feb 16: Shri Kailakh Jyotish Evam Vedic Sanathan Trust President, Mahant Rohit Shastri called on Narendra Singh Tomar, the former Union Minister of Agriculture and currently the Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly here today.
During the meeting, he discussed the promotion of Sanskrit in Jammu and Kashmir and briefed him on the initiatives being undertaken by the trust.
Shastri stated that under the leadership of the current Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, Sanskrit is receiving adequate protection.
Narendra Singh Tomar praised the efforts of Rohit Shastri and stated that if the youth of the country also have the same love for Sanskrit as Rohit Shastri does, then nothing can stop India from becoming a Vishwa Guru once again.
Shastri also presented Speaker “Kartavya Marg”, the trust’s annual magazine
Anil Tomar, a member of the trust, was also present on this occasion.
