JAMMU, Feb 16: The Union Territory administration in Ladakh has ordered transfer and posting of six police officers, two of them IPS and four JKPS officers.
As per an order, Shiv Kumar, under orders of transfer from the UT of J&K to the UT of Ladakh, has been posted as SSP Kargil relieving Anayat Ali Choudhary, who has been already transferred from UT of Ladakh to UT of J&K, Shree Ram R, awaiting orders of adjustment in PHQ, UT of Ladakh, has been posted as SP Traffic, UT of Ldakh. One post of Superintendent of Police from the IPS Cadre shall be utilized for the purpose of drawl of salary of the officer, said the order.
It has been further ordered that Majeeb-ur-Rehman, Deputy Commandant IRP 25th Battalion with the additional duties of SP Traffic, UT of Ladakh, has been transferred and posted as Additional SP District Kargil relieving Iftikhar Ahmad, who is under orders of repatriation to the UT of J&K, Farhan Jehanzeb Naqash, upon deputation from the UT of J&K, has been posted as SO to ADGP/in-charge IT, Cyber, PHQ, UT of Ladakh. One post of the SP from the overall strength of SPs shall be utilised for the purpose of drawl of salary of the officer, the order further said.
Regzin Sangdup, DySP (Pers) PHQ, UT of Ladakh, has been transferred and posted as Additional SP, District Leh, against an available vacancy, and Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, DySP CID, Kargil, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IRP 25th Battalion vice Majeeb-ur-Rehman, the order said, adding that the officer has been also assigned the duties of AIG CIV/Crime/Welfare PHQ.
