DTNBWED organises Short Term Training Programme

JAMMU, Feb 17: A day long Shot Term Training Programme (STTP) organised by Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development (DTNBWED) concluded here today.
The programme was organised by DTNBWED, Regional Directorate, Jammu for the awareness and benefits of 100 Unorganised Sector Workers under GOI’s Vibrant Village Project in border areas of UT of Ladakh.
The Chief Guest of the program was Kamal Kishore Soan, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Unorganised Sector Workers should take the maximum benefits of this training workshop by enrolling themselves in various Government welfare schemes like E-Shram Cards, PMSYM, PMJJY, PMSBY etc available on the spot and learn how to be multi skilled for better employment and self employment opportunities for their bright future and MOLE will always be there to assist them in their all future endeavours.
During the said workshop 14 Unorganised Sector Workers have also received their E-Shram Cards and Certificate of Participation in STTP from the Chief Guest of the Workshop.
During the program Dr. Pankaj Rastogi, Regional Director IC, DTNBWED, MOLE, GOI, Jammu said that all the 100 participants of this STTP will get Rs 250 each in their Aadhar linked Saving Account from DTNBWED, Jammu to compensate their today’s wage loss for attending the workshop.
